THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS ONE NATION UNDER GOD. ENDED AS WELL . JUSTICE STRONG. RECORD MASON THE ROLE PLEASE. AFTER THAT. OH, GOD. YOU UNPLUGGED. THERE WE GO, ALRIGHT. MY SOUND APPEARS TO BE WORKING. MAYOR SPAULDING HERE. COUNCIL MEMBER BRISK. HERE COUNCIL MEMBER DEREK HERE, FELLAS. COUNCIL MEMBER KISS HERE . COUNCIL MEMBER SHAWLS COUNCIL MEMBER WILL TRAP HERE HAVE SEVEN PRESIDENT FOR THE AUGUST 16 2022 REGULAR MEETING. ACTION ON THE MINUTES PRIOR TO THE MEETING A [4. ACTION ON MINUTES] COPY OF THE PROPOSED MINUTES FROM OUR JULY 19TH COUNCIL MEETING DISTRIBUTED TO MEMBERS. ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS PROPOSED MINUTES. THEN I WOULD MOVE FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE MINUTES BY CONSENSUS. ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE AGENDA. I KNOW WE HAVE A REQUEST TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE PURPOSES OF LAND PURCHASE. WE WILL READ THAT ENTIRE PROVISIONS BEFORE GOING TO THE EXECUTIVE SESSION ARE ARE THERE ANY OTHER CHANGES OR CORRECTIONS? THE AGENDA? THAT I WOULD MOVE THAT WE AMEND THE AGENDA TO INCLUDE AN EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF A LAND PURCHASE SECOND. MAYOR SPAULDING YES. TROUT COUNCIL MEMBER CHARLOTTE. YES. COUNCIL MEMBER. KISS? YES COUNCIL MEMBER FELLOWS? YES CANCER MEMBER. DEREK YES. RISK YES. SEVEN YES VOTES TO AMEND THE AGENDA TO INCLUDE THE ADDITIONAL EXECUTIVE SESSION. HEARING A VISITORS WOULD ANYONE FROM THE PUBLIC LIKE TO ADDRESS COUNCIL REGARDING A MATTER NOT ON TONIGHT'S AGENDA? BOARDING [7. BOARD/COMMISSION REPORTS] COMMISSION REPORTS. ANY UPDATE FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION? YES WE HAD A MEETING HERE LAST NIGHT. IT WAS A FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN MODIFICATION TO ALLOW FOR A BUILDING EXPANSION AND SITE MODIFICATIONS. 2.6 ACRES LOCATED 51 61 FOR STRIVE. OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE NEW ALBANY BALLET COMPANY. I'LL PASS THIS DOWN JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA. YES SO WHAT THEY ARE PROPOSING TO DO IS TO ADD TO I'LL JUST CALL IT WINGS, BUT YOU CAN PASS THEM ALL DOWN. THERE IS DIFFERENT VARIATIONS THERE. TWO WINGS ONTO THE BALLET COMPANY ABOUT 6000 PLUS SQUARE FOOTAGE WILL BE ADDED. WITH SOME ADDITIONAL PARKING, UH AND, UH. THE WHOLE THING. REALLY I THOUGHT WAS INTERESTING. THEY TALKED A LOT ABOUT THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE BUILDING BEING MORE OF A REPURPOSED WAREHOUSE. LOOK THEY'RE KEEPING WITH THAT THEME ON THE ADDITIONS THAT THEY'RE PUTTING IN REALLY ONLY HAD THREE ITEMS THAT THEY ADDED TO IT SO FOLLOWING CONDITIONS, ONE THAT THE SCREENING FOR THE NEW ROOFTOP MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT ON THE ADDITIONS BE PAINTED TO MATCH THE COLOR. USED FOR THE BUILDINGS, BASICALLY A LIGHTER COLOR. SECOND IF YOU LOOK AT THE RENDERINGS, YOU'LL NOTICE THAT THERE IS A SINGLE COLUMN. IRON. UM, PAUL. AH! THEY DID SINGLE COLUMNS BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO LOOK LIKE IT WAS FLOATING. ARE THE ENDS THAT ACTUALLY HAD A LOT OF DISCUSSION AT COUNCIL. THEY OR I SHOULD SAY COUNCIL PLANNING COMMISSION. UM THERE WAS A RECOMMENDATION TO MAKE THEM DOUBLE COLUMNS KIND OF AS A RESULT OF ALL THE DISCUSSION. THEY ENDED UP JUST MOVING THE COLUMN THAT WAS NEXT TO THE BUILDING OUT AND MAKE THEM KIND OF BETWEEN THE WINDOWS ABOVE. THEREBY KEEPING IT STILL A SINGLE COLUMN BUT MAKING IT MORE SUBSTANTIAL AND VISUALLY, UM, BETTER THAN THE WHOLE FLOATING IDEA. SO UM, BECAUSE IT WAS JUST BASICALLY IT WAS JUST FOR APPEARANCE. IT WAS NO STRUCTURAL ISSUE AS TO WHY IT WANTED IT TO BE DOUBLE. THAT WAS JUST A RECOMMENDATION FROM THE CITY ARCHITECT. AH AND THEN ALSO COORDINATE RELOCATION WITH THE ARBORISTS AND PROVIDE SIGHT DISTANCE TRIANGLES BECAUSE THERE'S GOING TO BE AN ADDITIONAL CURB CUT. UM THAT THEY'RE GOING TO PUT IN OFF OF FOREST BELIEVE, AND THAT WAS MAINLY BECAUSE THE WAY THE TRAFFIC WAS GOING WHEN THEY WERE DROPPING OFF KIDS AND PICKING UP KIDS. BY PUTTING THIS ADDITIONAL [00:05:05] CURB CREDIT. IT'S ACTUALLY BEEN AROUND FOR THE FLOOR TRAFFIC TO BE A LITTLE BIT BETTER. THE VOTE EVERYONE VOTED FOR WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE AND THE REASON WHY DAVE WALLACE HAD VOTED AGAINST. IT WAS HE HAD JUST FELT THAT THEY WERE REALLY TRYING TO PUT A LOT INTO A SMALL SPACE AND VISUALLY, HE WASN'T SUPPORTIVE OF THAT IN GENERAL. OTHER THAN THAT, IT WAS THE PAST. DID THEY TALK AT ALL ABOUT PARKING PARKING SITUATION? SO THEY'RE ADDING PARKING PLACES UNDERNEATH OF THOSE, BUT THEY ALSO HAD TO TAKE SOME OUT, SO IT'S A NET GAIN OF SEVEN. WHEN IT'S ALL SAID AND DONE. THERE WAS THAT DISCUSSION, BUT THEY HAD FELT THAT THE SEVEN WAS MORE THAN ADEQUATE, ACTUALLY, ARCHITECT SAID FROM THE FEEDBACK THAT THEY RECEIVED FROM THE VALLEY COMPANIES, SO THAT WAS ALSO DISCUSSED. THERE WAS DISCUSSIONS ABOUT MAYBE FILLING IN UNDERNEATH AND MAKING IT TWO STORIES THAT WOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE. OF THE PARKING OUT, BUT IT'S IN THAT GAME SEVEN. THEY DEFINITELY NEED MORE SPACE FOR DANCING AND FOR PARKING, BUT I THINK THEY'RE TRYING TO DO THE DRIVE THRU CONCEPT AND SO HOPEFULLY THEY ARE CONTINUE THAT SO YOU'LL NOTICE ON THE RENDERING. WHAT THEY ENDED UP DOING IS THEY ENDED UP MAKING PARKING SPACES RIGHT IN FRONT. UM KIND OF DRIVING IN AS OPPOSED TO PARALLEL WHICH THEY HAD. THAT'S WHERE THEY PICKED UP SOME ADDITIONAL ONES RIGHT THERE, AND HOPEFULLY THAT'LL WITH THE CURB. CUT DOWN. TAKE CARE OF WHAT YOU'RE THINKING. BUT WE HAD TWO MEMBERS ON PLANNING COMMISSION THAT HAVE HAD CHILDREN IN THAT SO THAT WAS SOMETHING THAT WAS DISCUSSED. HONESTLY, THEY'VE EXPERIENCED THAT. AND THAT WAS IT. JUST THE ONE A.M. DON'T I MEAN, THIS MIGHT BE A VERSION OF THE RENDERINGS. BUT WAS THERE ANY DISCUSSION? AS FAR AS HAVING STRUCTURAL COLUMNS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PARKING LOT. IT'S FOR SAFETY AND UH HUH. WAS THERE ANY CONCERN THAT POTENTIAL. SOMEBODY RUNNING INTO COLUMN AND DROPPING THE ENTIRE WING. SO THERE IS A AND I FORGET THIS BUSINESS OWNERS FOR AN ADULT GOT HIM. MY GOSH. THERE IS, FOR INSTANCE, TRIVIAL REALLY FLOATING. YEAH THERE'S A CONCRETE CIRCULAR. I UNDERSTAND THERE'S A SERIOUS BUK LIKE WINGS. LOOKS LIKE IT'S JUST WANTING TO EXPRESS IT. WELL THERE'S I THINK THERE'S EIGHT COLUMNS, PERCEPTION, BUT TAKE THIS ONE. THAT'S WHAT'S GOING ON AT THE DELI COMPANY. MAYBE THEY CAN AUCTION OFF THE COVERED PARKING. ALRIGHT ANY OTHER QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PLANNING COMMISSION? PARKS AND TRAILS ADVISORY BOARD MEETING ARCHITECTS FOR REVIEW BOARD. THERE WAS A MEETING. WE HAVE ONE ITEM ON THE AGENDA. 12 SOUTH HIGH, WHICH IS A PROPERTY ON THE SAME SIDE AS PIZZA HIGH. ABOUT A MONTH AGO, WE APPROVED A PATIO TO BE BUILT BETWEEN THE FIRST TWO BUILDINGS RECALL THAT PROJECT THIS BUILDING IS RIGHT ON THE CORNER NEXT TO THE EMPTY LOT. YOU WANT TO GET A SECOND STORY? IT'S BUSH TAX COMPANY IN THEIR ADDING A SECOND STORY. TO THE BUILDING IN THE REAR ARCHITECTURALLY LOOKS GREAT. NO REAL CHANGES OR ADDITIONS. ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE WILL BE HARDY PLAYING AND EXCITING. AND THEY'RE GOING TO TAKE IT OUT SOME OF THE OLD VINYL SIDING PARTY SHOULD HAVE MUCH NICER. COPY STILL DO PATIO AFTER THIS CONSTRUCTION SO IT WAS GREAT. AND THAT WAS THAT. OKAY ANY QUESTIONS ON THE RV? BORDER ZONING APPEALS. YES WE HAD ONE MEETING WITH ONE CASE THAT CONCERNED VARIANCE TO ALLOW PLAYGROUND TO BE WITHIN A BUFFER ZONE. UM THE HOMEOWNER HAD PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED, UM TO HAVE A FENCE IN THE BUFFER ZONE, AND THAT APPLICATION WAS DENIED. SHE CAME TO THE D A, AND EXPLAINED THAT SHE WANTED THIS UP TO THE PLAYGROUND WAS ACTUALLY IN THE BUFFER ZONE, AND SHE WANTED TO KEEP IT IN THE BUFFER ZONE BECAUSE THEY HAVE A ARTISTIC CHILD THAT REALLY LIKES TO PLAY ON THE GROUND AND IT'S UH MUCH BETTER FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO SEE, UM, THE KID PLAYING FROM WHERE IT STANDS. UM THERE WAS A HAVING TODAY ABOUT THE NECESSITY OF THE VARIANCE, BUT THE BOARD CONSIDERS THE FACTORS AND DECIDED THAT THEY WOULD ALLOW IT . UM WHAT THE CONDITION THAT THERE WOULDN'T BE ANY EXPANSION [00:10:04] AND THAT THEY REQUIRE THAT THE PLAYGROUND WOULD BE REMOVED WHEN THE OWNERS UH. I KNOW THERE WAS SOME LETTERS. SHARING CONCERNS ABOUT THE PLACEMENT, WHETHER ANY TESTIMONY FROM MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE PLACEMENT THERE WAS NOT ANY TESTIMONY. THE ONE LETTER THAT WAS SUBMITTED WAS, UM, THAT THEY TRIED REALLY HARD TO ADJUST THE CONCERNS THAT WERE STATED IN THE LETTER AND THE LETTER EVEN SAID IF YOU'RE GOING TO ALLOW IT, PLEASE DO THESE THINGS. ALL RIGHT. ANY QUESTIONS ON THE MUSICA? SUSTAINABILITY ADVISORY BOARD. YES WE HAD A MEETING LAST WEDNESDAY WAS SOMEWHAT LIGHTER AGENDA A LOT OF PROJECT UPDATES WITH SOME OF THE GREAT REQUESTS THAT WE'VE BEEN LOOKING AT AND UPDATES ON FROM THE PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN STARTED. AH, THE MAIN DISCUSSION WAS POTENTIAL BUDGET ITEMS THAT WE MAY BE SO MANY POOR NEXT YEAR COULD BE COMING TO COUNCIL. JUST GETTING SOME IDEAS TO PRESENT AND DOWN THE ROAD. SO I HAD A NICE DEBATE ABOUT THOSE INITIATIVES THAT WE WANT TO TARGET. UM AND THEN SO UNRELATED TO SUSTAINABILITY ADVISORY BOARD. UM WE WERE APPROACHED BY THE CITY WAS PRESSED BY A COMPANY CALLED TELEMANN. IT'S A SOLAR COMPANY BASED OUT OF INDIANA, UM, ADRIAN AND MIKE AND I SAT DOWN WITH THEM LAST WEEK AND HAD UM, REALLY GOOD DISCUSSION. THEY WORK WITH MUNICIPALITIES ON SMALLER SCALE SOLAR RAYS. UM. IN SOME OF THE POTENTIAL PROJECTS THAT THEY COULD PARTNER WITH. SO THEY ASKED SOME REALLY GOOD QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT THE CITY'S GOALS WERE WHAT WE WANT TO LOOK LIKE IN FIVE YEARS. HOW WE CAN PARTNER WITH SOME OF THEM ARE PARTNERS IN THE BUSINESS PARK. SO REALLY GOOD DISCUSSION. AND THEN, UM, SO THEY WALKED AWAY. THEY'RE GONNA KIND OF AUDIT OUR EXISTING CITY OWNED FACILITIES AND SEE IF SOLAR WING'S SENSE ON ANY PROJECTS AND THEIR UP FRONT THERE. MAYBE THEY DON'T. MAYBE THEY DO. BUT WE CAN PRESENT WHAT WE THINK COULD WORK FOR YOU GUYS SO THERE MAY BE AN UPDATE TO THAT AUDIT. UH, DOWN THE ROAD, BUT OVERALL, IT WAS A GOOD MEETING THAT KIND OF GOT OUR THINKING ABOUT WHAT WE COULD POTENTIALLY DO IN THE FUTURE. IS THIS ROOFTOP SOLAR IS THAT COMBINATION THANK YOU BOTH. YEAH THEY REALLY LIKE I MEAN, NO SALT SOLAR COMPANIES ARE GOING TO LOOK AT THE COST OF DIRT. ALBANY VERSUS COMPANY ROOFTOPS WE HAVE AND THEY LIKE ROOFTOPS BETTER. UM SO THAT'S KIND OF WHERE THEY WERE STARING AT US. BUT THEY HAVE I DON'T KNOW IF YOU'VE DRIVEN DOWN 70 ACROSS THE BORDER IN INDIANA TO SOLAR RAYS, AND ON EITHER SIDE OF 70 THEY MEAN IT. THAT'S ONE OF THEIR RAISED A LARGE SCALE AND THEY DO A LOT OF YOU KNOW, LIKE THEY SAID, THEY'RE REAL HOSPITALS LIKE YOU KNOW, PUMPS, PUMP STATIONS. YOU KNOW, THEY PROVIDE THE POWER FOR THAT, YOU KNOW, ON SITE AND YOU'RE USING THAT BUT UP TO LIKE ONE MEGAWATT SYSTEMS THEY DON'T WANT TO. THEY DON'T WANT TO BUILD OUT HUGE PROJECTS HERE, BUT I THINK THEY THERE COULD BE SOME OPTIONS FOR THE CITY TO CONSIDER. SOUNDS GOOD. ANY QUESTIONS? ALL RIGHT. THE IDEA IMPLEMENTATION PANEL. CEMETERY RESTORATION BOARD MEETING, AND THERE WAS NO MEETING OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS COMMISSION. ANY CORRESPONDENCE OR COMMUNICATION RECEIVED. BUT FROM COUNCIL SINCE OUR LAST MEETING THAT ANYONE LIKE TO PROVIDE AN UPDATE DOWN RIGHT? PART OF MY AGENDA HERE. HOW YOU DOING? ALL RIGHT, SAID SECOND READING OF ORDINANCES AND [10. INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES] PUBLIC HEARING. THERE'S NONE TONIGHT. WE'VE RECEIVED THE FIRST OF 18 ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3076.58 AND EXPECT TO RECEIVE UP TO $71,700.68 IN TOTAL. I'M HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE. ALL RIGHT. ALL RIGHT. ANY QUESTIONS ON THE ORGANS? THERE WILL ALSO SIT THERE FOR A SECOND READING OUR MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 6TH. THERE ARE NO RESOLUTIONS AND PUBLIC HEARING TONIGHT, WHICH TAKES US TO STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS [13. REPORTS OF REPRESENTATIVES] ANYONE CARE TO MAKE A SENATE COMMITTEE REPORT. REPORTS OF REPRESENTATIVES. JOE I KNOW WE HAD DEMOCRACY MEETING. WE DID HAVE A MEETING. UM. WAS THE FIRST MEETING BACK FROM SUMMER SUMMER RECESS. IT WASN'T A LOT OF COVER, THERE WAS A, UH REFERENCE TO THEIR UPDATED PLANNING PROJECTS THERE. FUNDING PROJECTS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE. AND I'M SORRY I'M BLANKING ON THEIR TITLE THEIR ACRONYMS RIGHT NOW, BUT THERE ARE BASICALLY THREE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF FUNDING FOR PROJECTS OF DIFFERENT SIZES. AND THERE THERE. PREPARING THE PLANS FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF THOSE OF THOSE PROJECTS. I THINK THEY THERE'S UH, ROUGHLY, I THINK IT'S THREE YEAR CYCLE ON THOSE OF MY MEMORY IS CORRECT. SO THAT WAS THE THAT WAS THE BULK OF THE MEETING. IT WAS A REALLY SHORT MEETING. AH! AND THEN THE ONLY OTHER ITEM HAD TO DO WITH THE THERE. I'M SORRY. THERE THERE. ADRIAN HELP ME OUT HERE. WE'RE GOING TO THEIR THEIR IN. THANK YOU. SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE, WHICH IS COMING UP NEXT MONTH. THAT'S IT. JUST ONE OTHER THING TO ADD THE COLUMBUS AREA METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLAN . UM THEY WENT THROUGH A LOT OF THE PARTS OF THAT PLAN THAT HAVE IMPACT IN OUR COMMUNITY. UM, LITERALLY WENT THROUGH, LIKE STREET BY STREET AND THE AMOUNT OF FUNDING DEDICATED TO THOSE PROJECTS. SO I'M HAPPY TO TAKE A SCREENSHOT LIKE AND SENATOR RAND. EVERYONE IF YOU JUST WANT TO SEE WHAT THEY'RE REPRESENTING, BUT IT'S INTERESTING TO TIE THE DOLLAR FIGURES TO THE STREETS AND THAT SORT OF THE PEACE OF THE CONSTRUCTION. UM I THINK WE ALL JUST GET ON THE PACE, RIGHT, RYAN. UM YEAH, IT WAS PRETTY SHORT MEETING. ALRIGHT, LET'S SEE. ANY UPDATE FROM THE JOINT PARKS? YEP THEY HAD THEIR MEETINGS. UM NOT ON THE WEBSITE YET, BUT THERE WILL BE A WEBSITE FOR FACTS THAT CTS. OF THE FIELD HOUSE, SO THAT WILL BE UP AND RUNNING SOON. THEY'RE FRIENDS OF NEW ALBANY FIELDHOUSE IS THE PACT TITLE THAT'S GOING TO NOW GO OUT AND KIND OF LEAVE THE CHARGE FROM COMMUNICATION PERSPECTIVE WITH THE RESIDENTS, SO BASICALLY, THEY JUST WANT TO GET THE MESSAGE OUT NOW ON THE UPCOMING BALLOT ISSUE. AND I'LL KEEP YOU UP TO DATE, BUT THEY'RE PLANNING ON DOING A COUPLE OF MAILERS AND DIGITAL, UM INFORMATION SO MORE TO COME ON THAT DID THEY HAVE A DOLLAR FIGURE THEY WERE GOING TO GENERATE. REMEMBER IF THEY GOT TO THAT POINT. I BELIEVE IT WAS 42 MILLION FIELDHOUSE. IS WHAT THE ACTUAL FIELDHOUSE IS GOING TO BE OPERATIONS, I BELIEVE WAS 0.69 I THINK THE OPERATION PART BUT I KNOW. YEAH 0.69 MILLS WAS FOR THE OPERATION. 46 MILLION. [00:20:04] APOLOGIZE. WHICH IS ABOUT 2.2 MILLS. I BELIEVE YEP. OKAY? ANY UPDATE FROM THE ALREADY PLAYING LOCAL SCHOOLS AND SECTOR INFECTED SCHOOL STARTS THURSDAY . ACTIVE SCHOOLS. YES, THEY HAD THEIR BOARD MEETING LAST MONDAY NIGHT. AH! AND YES, WE ARE BACK TO SCHOOL THIS WEEK. THURSDAY HALF THE SCHOOL GOES BACK. THEY'VE DONE A STAGGERED START THE LAST FEW YEARS, AND IT SEEMS SUCCESSFUL TO EASE KIDS BACK INTO THE WATER. THERE WAS A MISPRINT ON THE CALENDAR THAT CAME OUT AND ALL I KNOW IS KS, WHERE SMITH'S GO TO SCHOOL ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY IN THE FIRST EMAIL, AND MY SON WAS NOT HAPPY. THEY HAD OVERLAPPED A LITTLE TOO FAR AND HE WAS DOUBLE DIPPING. SO I THINK IT IS, UH, HALF THE SCHOOL. THEY'RE SAYING HALF ON FRIDAY AND 8 22 WILL BE THE FOUR SCHOOL DAY AND JUST A REMINDER. WE ARE THREE START TIMES. AH, MARKET CALENDARS HIGH SCHOOL. IT'S 7 45 TO 20 MIDDLE SCHOOL IS 8 30 TO 305 AND MIND YOU HIGH SCHOOL COUNCILS THROUGH 12 BROKEN THAT MIDDLE SCHOOL IS FOUR THROUGH 6 32 305 IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOL IS 9 15 TO 3 45 SO TO SEE BUSSES ALL DAY LONG MAKING TRIPS AROUND, SO I THINK EVERYBODY'S ANXIOUS TO SEE HOW THIS AFFECTS DROP OFF AND PICK UP AROUND THE CAMPUS. THAT WAS THE LAST AGENDA MAY HAVE SKIPPED BACK TO THEY DID A CURRICULUM UPDATE. THIS BOARD RECOGNIZES THAT THERE IS A LOT OF FOLKS THAT VERY INTERESTED IN TRANSPARENCY AND VISIBILITY FOR WHAT THEIR KIDS ARE LEARNING IN SCHOOL. SO THEY HAVE GONE BOTH PARENTS AND STUDENTS, SO THEY'VE GONE AND ENHANCE THEIR WEBSITE. UH GREATLY SO YOU CAN GO AND ACTUALLY CLICK ON LINKS TO THE ACTUAL ASK THINGS THAT THEIR KIDS ARE GONNA BE LEARNING IN THE RESOURCES THAT THEY'RE GOING TO BE USING IN THE CLASSROOM. UM THE SHARED A FEW OF THE RESULTS THAT THEY'VE BEEN GETTING BACK FROM STEEP TESTING AT THE NEXT MEETING, BUT THEY KIND OF TEASED US WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, PERFORMING EXTREMELY WELL. DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST IN CENTRAL OHIO STATE, SO I SHOULD HAVE AN UPDATE FROM MORE DETAILED RESULTS FROM THAT AT THE NEXT COUNCIL MEETING. VERY INTERESTING. THEY DID, UH, SAFETY UPDATE FOR WHAT THE SCHOOL HAS DONE THIS YEAR. THEY RECOGNIZE THAT THIS LAST SPRING WAS CHALLENGING THAT IN JUST A NEW ALBANY BUT NATIONALLY SCHOOL SAFETY. UM SO OBVIOUSLY, FOR REASONS THAT CHIEFS SHARED ABOUT SAFETY AROUND OUR EVENTS WE HAVE IN THE CITY THEY CAN'T SHARE IN DETAIL A LOT OF THINGS THAT THEY DO TO KEEP THE KIDS SAFE OVER THERE, BUT THEY DID BRING IN OHIO HOMELAND SECURITY THIS SUMMER. THEY SPENT THREE DAYS UH, AUDITING THE ENTIRE CAMPUS. UH, EVERY BUILDING TRANSPORTATION ROUTES. UM AND. OHIO HOMELAND, ISSUED A 55 PAGE DOCUMENT THAT WAS HIGHLY COMPLEMENTARY, BUT ALSO HAD A LOT OF SUGGESTIONS THAT, UH, YOU KNOW, AND THEY'VE RAIDED HIM AS YOU KNOW, DO NOW, IF YOU CAN DO IT, AND MAYBE A GOAL THING, AND WE'VE ALREADY KNOCKED OFF ALL THE ONES THAT THEY SAID YOU NEED TO DO THESE NOW. UM AN EXAMPLE THAT MR HOOD COULD SHARE WAS I DON'T KNOW HOW FAMILIAR WITH THE CAMPUS YOU ARE. BUT THERE'S KIND OF A 10 FT. SIDEWALK THAT KIND OF RUNS RIGHT THROUGH CAMPUS ACROSS ALL OUR BUILDINGS. AND THAT WAS RECOGNIZED. AS YOU KNOW , IT'S NICE. IT CONNECTS ALL THE CAMPUSES, BUT IT WAS ALSO RECOGNIZED THE POTENTIAL THREAT THAT SOMEBODY CAN DRIVE UP THERE OFF THE DROP OFF LOOP AND DRIVE THROUGH OUR ENTIRE CAMPUS, SO UM , IT WAS ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY. NOW, IF YOU GO THROUGH THERE, THERE ARE THESE LARGE DECORATIVE PLANNERS THAT LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE, YOU KNOW, JUST THERE TO ADD DECORATION WITH THOSE ARE ACTUALLY SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SO THERE'S BEEN A LOT OF THOSE THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN ADDED IN THE DISTRICT. UM AND OUR DISTRICT HAS 100 AND 50 PAGE SAFETY PLAN THAT'S VETTED BY HOMELAND SECURITY. UH, POLICE DEPARTMENT FIRE DEPARTMENT. SO. THEY I APPLAUD THE DISTRICT BEING VERY PROACTIVE. THEY WERE HIGHLY COMPLEMENTARY OF OUR STUDENT RESOURCE OFFICERS OVER THERE VERY GRATEFUL, POTENTIALLY ADDING TO THAT NUMBER. UM WHICH I THINK OUR COMMUNITIES. I THINK THE FEEDBACK IS VERY POSITIVE ABOUT HAVING THOSE RESOURCES OFFICERS AND THE DISTRICT. SO, UM THANK YOU. YOU CAN FEEL GOOD THAT I THINK WE ARE DOING MHM. [00:25:01] OBVIOUSLY THINGS CAN BE PERFECT , BUT A LOT OF THE BEST PRACTICES THAT ARE RECOMMENDED. OUR DISTRICT IS ALREADY DOING IN CONTINUALLY IMPROVING. IT WAS. IT WAS A VERY GOOD UPDATE FROM THAT SAME POINT. ALRIGHT THANKS TO CHIEF AND OUR COMMUNICATIONS TEAM AGAIN FOR PUTTING TOGETHER A GREAT VIDEO TO SHARE WITH THE COMMUNITY ON THOSE ISSUES. OBVIOUSLY VERY WELL DONE, AS ALWAYS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THAT. ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE SCHOOL? ALRIGHT MR DIRK. APPARENTLY WE HAVE A NEW TRUSTEE SWORN IN AND DO SEVERAL THINGS GOING ON OVER THE TOWNSHIP, JILL BECKETT HILL WAS APPOINTED TO FILL THE VACANT POSITION. SHE ATTENDED HER FIRST MEETING AT THE LAST SESSION. SHE WAS ALSO ELECTED TO BE THE LIAISON TO THE MCCOY FOR THE TOWNSHIP SO EXCITED GIVING HER DUTIES RIGHT AWAY, AND THEY EDITED A NEW I WOULDN'T SAY POSITION, BUT LIAISON CARRY MILLARD WILL BE A LIAISON JOINT PARKS, WHICH THEY DID NOT HAVE BEFORE. BUT GIVEN THE BIG PROJECT WITH THE FIELDHOUSE AND EVERYTHING THEY FELT THAT THEY WANTED TO HAVE REPRESENTATION. THERE TO REPORT BACK TO THE TOWNSHIP, SO SHE'S NOT A VOTING MEMBER BUT WOULD BE ATTENDING. THE PARKS ON THE APPLE. THE TOWNSHIP. THEY DID APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF THE FIRE TRUCK AND THE M S VEHICLES AND AGAIN TWO YEAR LEAD TIMES, BUT THEY DID GO AHEAD AND TRY TO AT LEAST GET ON THE PURCHASE LISTS AND HOPEFULLY HAVE THEM IN REASONABLE TIME. UM ONE OF THE THINGS THAT THEY SPENT A LOT OF TIME DISCUSSING WAS FIREFIGHTER RECRUITING AND RETENTION, WHICH IS A CONCERN. NOT JUST TO THEM, BUT THROUGHOUT CENTRAL OHIO AND MANY OF THE OTHER TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENTS HAVE BEEN INCREASING SALARIES AND COMPENSATION TO RECRUIT AND RETAIN FIREFIGHTERS. AND THE TOWNSHIP PLAIN TOWNSHIP HAS BEEN WAGGING BEHIND AND SOME OF THAT COMPENSATION. SO THEY ARE APPROVED. INITIATING INCREASES FOR THE FIRE. THE APARTMENT AND FOR SOME SERVICE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES. FIRE DEPARTMENT WILL NOW GET A MID YEAR 3% INCREASE AND A 5% COLA INCREASE FOR A TOTAL OF ABOUT EIGHT. UM THEY DROPPED FROM FOUR STEPS FROM STARTING SALARY TO REACH MAXIMUM. IT USED TO BE FOUR STEPS. THEY BROUGHT THAT DOWN TO THREE STEPS SO THAT PEOPLE WERE REACHED THE MAX PAY SOONER. STARTING PAPER APPLY FIGHTERS. 79,000 IN THE MAX PAY IS 99,000, AND THAT'S INCLUSIVE , INVOLVED RETIREMENT, YOU KNOW PIECES THAT ARE INCLUDED IN TOTAL COMPENSATION. SERVICE DEPARTMENT WILL GET A 6% MIDYEAR IN GREECE. IN ORDER TO BE COMPETITIVE. THEY DID APPROVE THAT THEY PURCHASED A TRACTOR AND BOOM FROM NEW ALBANY BAR USED VEHICLES FOR $15,000 AND VERY HAPPY TO HAVE THAT. FIRE E. M S RUNS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME AS THE LAST THREE MONTHS. 70% OF IT IS E M S RUNS. ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE LOOKED AT WAS INTERESTED IN DISTRICT VERSUS OUT OF DISTRICT RUNS, AND I THINK THEY SEE IT. ASKED ABOUT THAT, IN THE PAST, ROUGHLY 52% OF THE RUNS ARE IN PLAIN TOWNSHIP IN NEW ALBANY. NEXT IS 30% IN COLUMBUS , DEPENDING ON THE OVERLAP OF WHAT'S TO US. THAT'S 80% OF THE RUNS ANOTHER 9% IN MIFFLIN. TOWNSHIP AND RECIPROCAL SIDE. COLUMBUS RESPONDS TO ABOUT 7% OF OUR RUNS INDIFFERENT TO ABOUT 10% TO ABOUT 18% OF THE RUNS. FROM THE OTHER WAY. IN TERMS OF NURSING HOMES. I THINK THAT'S COME UP AND PASSED AND THEY'RE NOW REPORTING ON THAT THEY HAD SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, 102 NURSING HOME RUNS OUT OF APPROXIMATELY 1160 CMS RUNS SO FOR ABOUT 8% AND THE MAJORITY OF THOSE THE AVERAGE ABOUT 15 TO 17 PER MONTH. AND THAT'S IN DISTRICT. AND PROBABLY AN EQUAL AMOUNT OUT OF HISTORY. AGAIN. COLUMBUS IS MORSE ROAD AND JUST OUTSIDE OF OUR BORDERS. BUT THAT'S THE MAJORITY OF ERIC. THERE'S A LOT OF YOU PROBABLY ABOUT 15% OF THE FIRE AND E. M S RUNS THAT ARE ACTUALLY WHEN THEY'RE OUT ON RUN THAT'S CANCELED. WELL THEY'RE ON ROUTE DESTINATION, WHICH IS INTERESTING. I FOUND THAT KIND OF A SURPRISE IS BEHIND THEM. THAT'S ABOUT IT. ANY QUESTIONS ON INTERNSHIP THERE? REPORTS OF CITY OFFICIALS WAS ABLE TO [14. REPORTS OF CITY OFFICIALS] ATTEND THE U. S CONFERENCE OF MAYORS KICKOFF LAST WEEK. UM MARY GINTHER. WILL BE NAMED THE PRESIDENT OF THE US CONFERENCE OF MAYORS THE NEXT YEAR, SO HE'S HOSTING US CONFERENCE OF MAYORS [00:30:03] . THAT'LL BE SOMETIME IN PROBABLY JUNE JULY NEXT YEAR. I'M PRETTY GOOD ATTENDANCE LOT OF CORPORATE SUPPORT FOR THAT EFFORT. SO LOOK FORWARD TO PUT ON THE BEST THE BEST SHOW WE CAN FOR US MAYORS AND BRING THE CENTRAL HIGHLAND REGION. SHOW HIM AROUND A BIT. ANY UPDATE FROM THE CLERK. I AM REMINDING YOU THAT THE CAPITAL PROJECT WORKSHOP, IT'S COMING UP. IT IS A REMINDER. WE ALREADY CLEARED THIS ON YOUR CALENDAR. SEPTEMBER 9TH NINE O'CLOCK OUT OF PUBLIC SERVICE. AND SINCE YOU GUYS SOMEBODY WENT TO TASTE IN NEW ALBANY, DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR WHERE WE SHOULD GET FOOD FROM WHERE? THERE ANY FAVORITES? THAT SOUNDS LIKE THEY WOULD MAKE A GOOD LUNCH. AND IF YOU CAN'T THINK OF ANYONE RIGHT NOW WAS GREAT. I I'M REALLY DIGGING ALADDIN'S YEAH, LENSES. GOOD STAY AWAKE. NO WHAT DID THEY MUST NOW LIVES? 11 SAID. THAT'S A GOOD CALL INTO A LOT FAN MYSELF. AND THAT'S IT FOR ME , JUST REMINDING YOU AND, UH, PROBABLY BE STANDING OUT THE WHOLE FOR BUDGET WORKSHOP THAT'S GOING TO BE NOVEMBER. IT'S NOT SO FAR AWAY, SO I'LL START WITH STAFF AND THEN YOU GUYS, OKAY? ANY UPDATE FROM THE FINANCE TEAM REPORT. CITY MANAGER UPDATE. SORRY I STOLE YOUR AGENDA. JUST A FEW ITEMS IN, UM BRIAN HAS SOMETHING TO SHARE WITH YOU RELATED TO RIGHT AWAY ACQUISITION. THAT'S AN ANNUAL REQUIREMENT THAT COUNCIL APPROVED ABOUT A YEAR OR TWO AGO. YES SO ORDINANCE 09 2020 AUTHORIZES THE CITY MANAGER. TO ACCEPT SPECIFIED EASEMENTS INCLUDED, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THOSE FOR CONSTRUCTION, UTILITIES, DRAINAGE, FIBER STREETSCAPE, LEISURE TRAILS, SIDEWALKS AND OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE. UM INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE, PROVIDED THAT THE PURCHASE PRICE FOR SUCH EASEMENTS HAS BEEN BUDGETED FOR OR THE EASEMENT IS VALUED AT OR BELOW 50,000 ORDINANCE. UM ALSO REQUIRED THAT WE PRESENT YOU WITH THE ANNUAL REPORT. AND SO THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THIS IS THIS JUST LIST THE EASEMENTS. THERE'S ABOUT 25 OF THEM, WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY WHAT WE HAD LAST YEAR AS WELL. SO I HAVE HARD COPIES. IF YOU GUYS WOULD ALL LIKE A HARD COPY. OTHERWISE I'LL GET THEM. CERTAINLY. GIVE JENNA COFFEE. UM. FOR COMPANIES. I SAID THAT SOUNDS FINE. JUST A MINUTE. AND THAT THAT'S REALLY IT. SO JUST REPORT LISTING THE EASEMENTS, AND I THINK THE INTENT WAS TO HAD COUNCIL CHANCE TO SEE WHAT WE'VE DONE AND GIVE YOU OPPORTUNITY REVIEW IT SO WE CAN HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. WE CAN ANSWER THOSE EITHER AT THE NEXT COUNCIL MEETING ON TIME TO REVIEW IT. AND THEN IF YOU'D LIKE TO MAKE A MOTION THAT LEADING TO ACCEPT THE REPORT FOR THE YEAR, THEN I THINK THAT COVERAGES. THE OTHER THING. WE'RE ALSO EXPERIENCING DELAYS IN, UH, EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLES THAT IS SIGNIFICANT AS THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE VEHICLES. BUT WITH POLICE CRUISERS AND SO I'LL PROBABLY HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU AT THE NEXT COUNCIL MEETING. TO ADDRESS TRYING TO GET OUT AHEAD OF CRUISER SHORTAGES. THINK FORD UH, NOTIFIED US THAT IF WE PLACED AN ORDER TODAY OR WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO THAT WE COULD PROBABLY EXPECT TO GET THE VEHICLES BY THE END OF NEXT YEAR. SO WE ACTUALLY WERE IN TOUCH WITH A. A DEALER THAT WAS BRINGING IN SOME VEHICLES FROM CHEVY SOME SOME A COUPLE OF TOWELS, WHICH WE COULD PROBABLY HAVE DELIVERED BY THE END OF THIS YEAR. SO OUR GOAL WOULD BE TO TRY TO TRANSITION OUT SOME OF THE HIGHER MILEAGE VEHICLES AT THE BEGINNING OF NEXT YEAR AND THEN THE VEHICLES THAT WE WOULD ORDER FROM FORWARD WITH WOULD BE USED TO REPLACE VEHICLES AT THE END OF 23, BEGINNING OF 24. SO DEPENDING ON THE PRICING, WITH COUNCIL RAISING THE DEAD LIMIT $200,000. THESE VEHICLES ARE GOING TO BE HIGH FORTIES IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, 47 48 YEAH, THE. TOWERS THAT ARE COMING IN, OR 42 BECAUSE THEY'RE ACTUALLY A [00:35:02] YEAR OLDER. THEY'RE 20. 22 BUT WE'LL PROBABLY GET HIM IN 23. THEY WERE ALREADY ORDERED BY THE LEADERSHIP, SO THEY'RE NOT. THEY'RE NOT ORDERING THEM. AND THEN THE FORDS ARE 45 IF YOU'RE ORDERING HIM SO. AND THEN THE FORDS THAT ARE COMING IN WILL BE THE HYBRIDS. WHICH WE WANTED TO EXPERIMENT WITH. CHEVY DOESN'T HAVE A HYBRID IN THE IN THE VEHICLES THAT ARE COMING IN SO, BUT THIS WILL KEEP THE FLEET KEEP THE MILEAGE DOWN IN THE FLEET AND HOPEFULLY PREVENT THE NEED FOR SIGNIFICANT EXPENSIVE REPAIRS. BUT WITH I THINK WITH THE PURCHASE OF TWO WE SHOULD BE IN GOOD SHAPE, AND THEN THE ADDITIONAL WILL BE ABLE TO SUPPLEMENT THE INCREASED STAFF, SO WE'LL NEED ADDITIONAL VEHICLES FOR THE ADDITIONAL OFFICERS TO USE. AS WELL AS VEHICLE REPLACEMENTS WHEN THEY RETIRE. MILEAGE SO TYPICALLY, I THINK WE'RE WE'RE STILL TRYING TO TRANSITION VEHICLES ADDED ABOUT. ROUGHLY HIGH 70 LOW 80,000 MILES. I WAS JUST TYPICALLY ABOUT THREE YEARS YEARS. THE LEAD TIME FOR ALL THE MANUFACTURERS IS CHECKED WITH CHEVY AND SO THE LEAD TYPE ORDERING CARS. IT'S PRETTY MUCH ABOUT A YEAR FOR EVERYBODY. BASED ON THE UH UM. IF THERE'S ANY NEED FOR ANY TYPE OF LEGISLATION. I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU AT THE FIRST MEETING IN SEPTEMBER. JOE'S ATTORNEY. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TAHOE AND WHEN WE HAVE EXPLORERS RIGHT NOW BIGGER VEHICLE SERVICE AND ALL THAT. WELL THE I GUESS FOR THE CARS THAT WE HAVE ORDERED, WHICH WE ORDERED. YOU KNOW, COMING UP ON A YEAR AGO, SO WE ORDERED THE FORD THE HYBRIDS. SO UM, BASICALLY THE CRUISERS IDLE FOR ABOUT TWO THIRDS OF THE TIME THAT THEY'RE THEY'RE RUNNING, AND THE REASON THEY IDLE IS BECAUSE THE EQUIPMENT IN THERE NEEDS TO NEEDS THE POWER SO WE CAN'T SHUT THEM OFF. SO WITH THE HYBRIDS, THE MUCH THE TIME IT'LL GO OVER TO THE HYBRID TO THE ELECTRIC SO MUCH OF THAT TIME. THE ENGINE WON'T BE RUNNING IN A RUNOFF ELECTRIC PORTION OF IT. AND SO THE IDEA IS THAT HOPEFULLY THAT'S ALSO LOWERS THE MAINTENANCE AS FAR AS THE CARS GO. THE TAHOE'S DON'T HAVE A HYBRID AVAILABLE FOR CRUISERS, SO THAT WOULD BE THE CONVENTIONAL, YOU KNOW, UM GAS VEHICLES THERE ARE SLIGHTLY BIGGER THAN THE EXPLORERS. UM BUT OTHER THAN THAT, THEY'RE BOTH CHEVY AND FORD. BOTH BUILD THE CARS TO BE UP FITTED INTO CRUISERS. SO THE UPDATING IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT, BUT MOST FOR THE MOST PART THE SAME. BECOME SUPERVISOR VEHICLES. OKAY MAYBE A LITTLE BIT LARGER TO BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE THE COMMAND POST SET UP AT THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE. IT'S A V EIGHT ENGINE VERSUS A V SIX ENGINE. SIX FORDS HAVE TURBOS, WHICH HAVE A TENDENCY DO HAVE ISSUES IF THEY IDLE A LOT. SO, UM HMM. YOU'RE TALKING A FULL FRAME VEHICLE VERSUS A UNIBODY VEHICLE. THE WE HAVE OTHER CHEVYS IN THE FLEET OUT OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. SO WE'RE NOT LOOKING AT BRINGING IN AN ENTIRE NEW LINE OF REPLACEMENT PARTS. WE ALREADY HAVE PARTS THAT POTENTIALLY BE SIMILAR ENERGY. SO AND I'M MECHANICS ARE COMFORTABLE WITH BOTH THE EFFORTS. MHM HYBRID. SOUNDS LIKE A PRETTY SMART IDEA , THOUGH I WILL SAY FOR THE PATROL CARS. FOR WHAT? FOR THE PATROL CARS. THAT HYBRID MODEL MAKES A LOT OF SENSE. AND THIS WILL BE YOU KNOW, COLUMBUS AND MANY OF THE SUBURBS ALREADY HAVE THEM IN PLACE, SO I THINK THEY'RE ALREADY TESTED, YOU KNOW APPLICATIONS AND WE'RE NOT WORRIED ABOUT THAT, EITHER. ONCE THOSE COME IN OUR GOAL OF BEING CONGRATULATED, REPLACE CONVERT THE ENTIRE FRONTLINE FLEET. UM WE'LL HAVE. I THINK A TOTAL OF SIX HYBRIDS WHEN ALL THE NEW VEHICLES FOR ITS COMMITTEE. THE ONLY OTHER ITEM I HAVE. THIS COUNCIL DOESN'T HAVE ANY INJECTIONS VACATION. THANK YOU. YES OKAY. THAT'S ALL I HAVE. THANKS JOE. ALWAYS ASK VERY PROUDLY ABOUT TAKING TIME OFF ITS WELL EARNED ALL RIGHT, UH, TO THE ATTORNEY AND THE UPDATE. NO REPORT. THANKS FOR PUBLIC COMMENT. JACOBS. PAUL FOR [16. POLL FOR COUNCIL COMMENT] COUNCIL COMMENT AND THE ADDITIONAL COUNSEL COMMENT. JUST TOUCH YOUR TRUCK RIGHT THIS SATURDAY THIS SATURDAY AND WE'RE STARTING WITH A CENTURY SPECIFIC EVENT TO BEGIN THE DAY. SO THANKS FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. EVERYONE FOR PULLING THAT TOGETHER. IT WAS VERY THOUGHTFUL. I KNOW I'VE ALREADY GOT SOME FEEDBACK ON THAT, SO I HOPE IT GOES WELL. GOOD JOB ON TELE TONY. HERE'S THE FAT GUY ON THE LEFT. AT LEAST I'M NOT IN A PICTURE WITH CASEY. IT LOOKS SO [00:40:09] BAD. WAS IT? IT WAS A GOOD RIDE ENJOYABLE TIME. YEAH NORMALLY STILL THE EPICENTER AND SECONDS EVERYWHERE. THE WEATHER COOPERATED ON SATURDAY AND GET A LITTLE SKETCHY ON SUNDAY. SO KIND OF CUT THINGS SHORT. BUT OVERALL, REALLY GOOD WEEKEND. US NOW'S A GREAT TIME TO GET STARTED EARLY, BUT WE'VE APPROACHED JOE WITH POTENTIALLY HAVING A NEW ALBANY PELOTON NEXT YEAR, SO TEAM SPONSORED PELOTON. WE'RE GONNA TRY TO LOOK TO GET SOME SPONSORSHIPS TO HELP WITH FUNDRAISING, AND THAT'S A BIG BARRIER FOR FOLKS. BUT NOW WE'RE GOING TO GET OUT IN FRONT OF IT, AND I THINK WE REALLY COOL IS IMPACTFUL AS POLYGAMY IS GREEN. BECAUSE TO HAVE A NEW ALBANY PELOTON THAT WE CAN REPRESENT SO ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THAT, AND. WE'LL WORK ON THE JERSEY DESIGN SO THAT EVERYONE'S LIKE I HAVE TO HAVE THAT EXACTLY DO IT FOR A WHILE, DO IT FEELING OUR BOYS? SCOTT AND JOSH CAN COME UP WITH SOMETHING VERY SWEET FOR US TO GREAT IDEA ANY IDEA HOW MANY WRITERS ARE FROM NEW ALBANY? AND I KNOW IT'S A BIG NUMBER USED TO GENERATE THAT NUMBER. BUT FOR QUITE A WHILE, WE WERE THE NUMBER ONE ZIP CODE, BUT I'M NOT SURE THAT'S STILL HOLDS TRUE OR STILL GOT TO BE UP. THERE WOULD IMAGINE WE ARE STILL THE NUMBER ONE INDIVIDUALS. IT IS, YEAH. WHICH IS IN PART WHY WE HAVE SO MANY OF THE STARTS AND STOPS HERE BECAUSE THERE'S SUCH A COMMUNICATION. UM JUST BACK TO THE PELOTON. I MEAN, I THINK THERE HAS TO BE A CERTAIN YOU KNOW, KISSING. I TALKED ABOUT HOW MANY FOLKS THAT WE NEED TO HAVE ON THE TEAM TO SORT OF MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. IT'S PROBABLY GONNA BE 12 15 AT THE AT THE LOW END. BUT YOU KNOW IF YOU'VE FOLLOWED PILLOW TONIO OF LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, THEY'VE SORT OF BROADEN THE PARTICIPATION. YOU DON'T HAVE TO RIDE A BIKE. YOU CAN DO OTHER THINGS IF YOU WANT TO. AT THE END OF THE DAY. THIS IS ALL ABOUT RAISING MONEY FOR CANCER RESEARCH, TOOK A BALL BALL. I MEAN, I SAID, I HAVE JOKINGLY, MATT, BUT I REALLY THINK THAT I MEAN, THAT COULD BE THAT CONVERSATION. I THINK WE SHOULD PROBABLY HAVE WITH WITH OUR FRIENDS OF PAUL. TONY TO SEE I MEAN AGAIN, ANYTHING YOU CAN DO CREATIVELY TO GET PEOPLE ENGAGED AND WILLING TO PUT MONEY INTO THE CAUSE. I BET YOU THEY BE REALLY INTERESTED. THAT WAS KIND OF BORN OUT OF 2020. WHEN THEY DIDN'T HAVE AN ACTUAL EVENT YOU COULD KIND OF JUST PICK YOUR OWN POLITAN AND DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, UM, AND RECORD THAT TIME. UM SO, YEAH, I THINK THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL AND AGAIN I UNDERSTAND AND BELIEVE ME, SON, AND I'VE WRITTEN 14 YEARS. FIRST YEAR IT WAS REALLY EASY TO FUNDRAISE GOT HARDER EVERY YEAR BECAUSE EVERYBODY I KNOW RIDES NOW WHERE THEY DONATED OVER THE YEARS. SO, UM, WE FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT YOU KNOW, THAT'S A IT'S A DAUNTING NUMBER. BUT I DO THINK THAT THE CITY CAN DO SOME THINGS AND LIKE A LOT OF CORPORATIONS DO. IT'S A 50% MATCH. YOU KNOW, YOU'RE YOU HAVE TO RAISE THE MINIMUM MOUNTAIN AND HELP OUT SO I THINK WE CAN WITH ENOUGH TIME WE CAN MAKE IT SO THERE AREN'T BARRIERS AND I'VE GOT PLENTY OF BIKES TO BORROW PARKER DO IT WHILE YOU CAN AND SET OF CHEERING WHICH BARKER'S EVERYWHERE ON. HELLO TANYA. OUT THERE CHEERING NOW, YOU CAN ACTUALLY BE OUT THERE RIDING WITH US. NO I'LL TAKE YOU KNOW THAT'S A HARD NOTE. BAD DRINK. SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THAT, BUT YEAH.
