HEARING AND VISITORS TONIGHT. WE HAVE OUR FRIENDS FROM PLAIN TOWNSHIP THAT HAVE COME TO GIVE US AN UPDATE ON WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH OUR FRIENDS AT THE TOWNSHIP, SO I'M NOT SURE WHO WANTS TO MAKE THE PRESENTATION CAN BE TAG TEAMED. OKAY PERFECT. GOOD EVENING, AS YOU GUYS KNOW MY CHILL BECKETT HILL, AND IT'S A TOWNSHIP TRUSTEEAND, WE'LL BE SERVING FOR NOW. THE NEXT FOUR YEARS, SO WE'RE EXCITED TO BE HERE. SO HAPPY ELECTION DAY AND THANK YOU FOR HAVING US MAYOR.

JUST NAZAR. UM CITY MANAGER TO ALL OF OUR COLLEAGUES AND OTHER COUNCIL PEOPLE, SO THANK YOU. UM WE WANT TO THANK YOU FOR A CONTENDER, CONTINUED PARTNERSHIP AND ALSO WANTED THEY COUNSEL MENDER COUNCILMAN MEMBER DARK. HE IS THEY'RE VERY CAREFULLY SERVING AND SHARING ALL THE UPDATES HERE AT CITY COUNCIL, SO WE'RE REALLY, REALLY APPRECIATIVE TO ALL YOUR SUPPORT. UM WE ALSO WANT TO GIVE YOU AN UPDATE. WHAT'S GOING ON IN PLAIN TOWNSHIP IRON? AS MANY AS YOU GUYS HAVE? NO, BUT WE DO WANT TO GIVE YOU A RECAP, AND OUR FIRE CHIEF IS HERE AND HAS JOINED US SINCE 2023. SO CHIEF CONNOR. HE'S BEEN A GREAT ADDITION. AS ALSO WE WANT TO KIND OF RECOGNIZE GREAT ECHO BERRY. HE WAS PROMOTED TO OUR ASSISTANT CHIEF, AND THAT WAS IN MARCH. WE BOTH RECENTLY COME COMPLETE. SO SORRY. I'M TOTALLY GETTING OFF TRACK TODAY. UM ONE ALSO RECOGNIZE YOU AND COMPLETING THE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. AT NEW ALBANY WITH THEY ARE ALSO MAKING A HUGE IMPACT IN OUR COMMUNITY. WE ALSO WANT TO RECOGNIZE OTHER OFFICER PROMOTIONS THIS PAST MARCH BATTALION CHIEF PAPST CAPTAIN HERON AND LIEUTENANT SIR REYNOLDS AND PERSHING WERE ALSO, UM WITHIN THE NEW LEADERSHIP TEAM, SO WE ARE VERY PROUD PLAYING TOWNSHIP. PLOWED WITH THE EMPLOYEES. WE ARE FULLY STAFFED. WE HAVE A VERY ROBUST PART TIME AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS. SO WE'VE ALSO JUST ADDED A COUPLE OF NEW HIRES THAT TRANSFERRED INTO OUR FIRE DEPARTMENT. SO GOOD THINGS ARE HAPPENING WITHIN PLAYING TOWNSHIP CAR DEPARTMENT. I'M GOING TO TURN IT OVER TO TRUSTEE AND SHE'S GOING TO GIVE YOU AN UPDATE ON OUR STRATEGIC PLAN AND OTHER THINGS. GOOD EVENING. EVERYBODY IS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU.

THANK YOU FOR THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED IN A STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS EARLIER THIS CALENDAR YEAR. I WANT TO ECHO WHAT TRUSTEE BECKETT HILL SAID THE PLANE TOWNSHIP PREFER DEPARTMENT UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF PATRICK CONNER HAS BECOME AN EMPLOYER OF CHOICE AND WE'RE REALLY PROUD OF THAT. HMM UM, WE'RE REALLY PROUD TO SHARE THESE NEXT FEW THINGS WITH YOU.

PART OF OUR STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS WAS TO ARTICULATE NEW MISSION VISION VALUES FOR THE DEPARTMENT, AND WE'RE REALLY PROUD OF THIS STATEMENT. TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES. TO EDUCATION, ENGAGEMENT AND EMERGENCY SERVICES, AND WE'RE REALLY PROUD OF THIS STATEMENT BECAUSE, AS TRUSTEE BECKETT HILL WAS THE ONE WHO SAID WE HAVE TO START WITH TOGETHER BECAUSE WE

[00:05:02]

DON'T DO THIS WORK ALONE. AND ALL THE COMMUNITY FEEDBACK THAT WE RECEIVED THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE STREET. HEATED CLEANING PROCESS WAS SAVING LIVES BEGINNING AND OF THE WORK OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. SO TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES THROUGH EDUCATION, ENGAGEMENT. EMERGENCY SERVICES, OUR VISION STATEMENT. COMMUNITY THAT IS INFORMED, CONNECTED AND SAFE. THAT IS THE ULTIMATE GOAL.

THAT IS THE FUTURE STATE THAT WE WANT, AND WE ALSO WANTED TO HONOR THE CITIES OF FOCUS ON THE COMMUNITY CONNECTS US TO MAKE SURE WE HAD CONNECTED IN THERE TO TIE WITH YOUR WORK. THE VALUE STATEMENTS FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. COURAGE WE DO NOT HESITATE IN OUR RESPONSE AND WE FULFILL OUR OATH WITH PASSION AND PRIDE. INTEGRITY. WE OPERATE WITH HONESTY AND TRANSPARENCY.

COMPASSION. WE CARE FOR THOSE IN DISTRESS AS WE RESPOND THEIR EMERGENCY NEEDS. EQUITY. WE ENSURE EVERY EMPLOYEE HAS ACCESS TO LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT. EVERYONE RECEIVES THE SAME LEVELS OF SERVICE. PROFESSIONALISM. WE'RE HERE, THE HIGHEST STANDARDS IN THE INDUSTRY TRAIN DILIGENTLY WE WORK EFFECTIVELY TO ACHIEVE THE BEST OUTCOMES. AND CONNECTEDNESS . WE CELEBRATE AND ENGAGE OUR COMMUNITY AT EVENTS IN THE SCHOOLS AND THROUGHOUT OUR NEIGHBORHOODS. THESE STATEMENTS, THE MISSION VISION VALUES STATEMENTS WERE AGAIN FOUNDED THROUGH THE COMMUNITY IMPACT LED BY CHIEF CONNOR AND WORK THROUGH WITH THE TRUSTEES. AND SO WE WANTED TO REFLECT THOSE BACK WITH YOU TODAY. THE BOARD DID RATIFY THESE IN SEPTEMBER AND THERE THE GUIDING NARRATIVE THAT WE'RE USING IS WE PLAN AND CONTINUED TO MOVE FORWARD. FEW KEY STATS TO SHARE WITH. YOU KNOW, THE GRAPH IS A LITTLE HARD TO SEE. BUT YOU CAN SEE LAST YEAR WAS A RECORD YEAR NUMBER OF RUNS. THIS IS COMBINED FIRE AND EMS RUNS, SO THE CALL VOLUME CONTINUES TO BE SIGNIFICANT. UM AND WE HAVE, YOU KNOW, INCREASE SENIOR LIVING CALL FACILITIES AND WE TALKED ABOUT THAT WHEN WE CAME TO TALK TO YOU LAST YEAR, BUT NEARLY 3001 RUNS LAST YEAR AND JUST TO GET A SENSE OF THE SENIOR LIVING FACILITIES, AND THIS IS NOT ALL OF THE 55 AND OVER CONDO COMMUNITIES. THIS IS THE SENIOR LIVING FACILITIES. IN 2019. THERE WERE 120 RUNS TO THOSE FACILITIES. LAST YEAR, THERE WERE 343, AND WE KNOW THAT'S ONLY GOING TO CONTINUE TO INCREASE. WE HAVE UPDATED OUR WEBSITE, SO THERE'S A LOT MORE STATS AND DATA AND FIRING ANY MESS IN THE WEBSITE, BUT WE WANTED TO GIVE YOU THOSE HIGHLIGHTS A COUPLE. OTHER KEY HIGHLIGHTS, OF COURSE, THE END OF SUMMER. 2023 WAS A RECORD YEAR FOR THE POOL AS WELL. WE'RE REALLY PROUD OF THAT WE HAD OVER 42,000 TOTAL VISITS, WHICH IS A BIG INCREASES 6% INCREASE OVER 2022 HUGE DEMAND FOR SWIM LESSONS. WE OFFERED MORE SWIM LESSONS THIS YEAR THAN WE EVER HAVE BEFORE, WITH A 48% INCREASE IN REGISTRATIONS. AND WE WANT TO RECOGNIZE MANY OF OUR LIFEGUARDS . THEY ALSO SWIM ON THE PLAIN TOWNSHIP TEAM, AND THEY WON THEIR THIRD CONSECUTIVE SUMMER LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP, SO WE'RE SO PROUD OF THEM. THE TOWNSHIP CONTINUES TO INVEST IN THE POOL.

WE INVESTED OVER $100,000 BEFORE THE START OF THE SWIM SEASON, AND WE'RE NOW LOOKING AT A MAJOR RENOVATION OF THE SLIDE TOWER. SO SOME KEY HIGHLIGHTS. I LIKE JILL WRAP UP TALKING ABOUT THE CEMETERY AND THEN WE'LL OPEN IT UP TO Q AND A SO LAST YEAR, WE TEAMED UP TOGETHER WITH CITY COUNCIL IN THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA, AND WE SPONSORED REESE AND MAPLE WOOD CEMETERY AND WOULD LIKE TO DO THAT PARTNERSHIP AGAIN. UM WE PLACED ON ALL THE GRAVES OF THE VETERANS, AND IT WAS A LOVELY MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR A VETERANS AND THAT EVERY WE WERE ABLE TO PLACE ALL THOSE REEFS. SO WE REALLY INVITE YOU GUYS TO JOIN US THIS YEAR AND THAT PARTNERSHIP AS WE CELEBRATE OUR VETERANS OF HOLIDAY SEASON, SO THANKS FOR ALLOWING US THIS EVENING WILL TAKE ANY QUESTIONS. DID THE WREATH EVENTS DECEMBER 16TH 16TH? ALRIGHT HAVE A COST ESTIMATE FOR THE. CONTRIBUTION AT $17. EACH REASONS $17 AND IT'S BEEN VERY SLOW THIS YEAR IN TERMS OF THE COMMUNITY RESPONSE TO SPONSORSHIP SO ONLY LIKE 80 RECENT UNSPONSORED THUS FAR, SO WE'RE PUSHING OUT A LOT OF MESSAGES TO COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO SEE WHAT OTHER DOLLARS WE CAN RAISE FILM PRACTICALLY BY THE NEXT MEETING, WE'LL HAVE A BETTER SENSE OF WHERE WE ARE TO ASK THE CITY TO SHARE THOSE EXPENSES WITH THE TOWNSHIP AGAIN. BUT WE'RE REALLY HOPING TO GET MORE COMMUNITY SUPPORT. SO PLEASE THOSE HERE IN THE ROOM TONIGHT AND SHARE IT WITH YOUR YOUR NEIGHBORS ARE SHARED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. UM WE LOVE LOVE MORE COMMUNITY SUPPORT, BUT THEN, YES. LOVE TO ASK THE CITY YOU RECALL HOW MANY VETERANS IN TOTAL THERE ARE SO LAST YEAR WAS

[00:10:01]

ABOUT 580. OKAY, MORE. OUR VERY WORST CASE. IF YOU DON'T GET ANYBODY ELSE, IT'S 500 SPLIT TWO WAYS. I GUESS THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE WITH CEMETERIES ALL YEAR THEY HAVE THIS. YES, YES, THAT'S RIGHT. 15% OF THOSE BURIED THEIR VETERANS. IT'S A HUGE PERCENTAGE OF THE POPULATION. THE CEREMONY LAST YEAR WAS LOVELY SCOUTS DID A REALLY NICE JOB YOU DID. GOOD. YEAH I THINK IT'S GREAT. I WOULD SUPPORT MATCHING FUNDS TOWNSHIP ON THAT. I AGREE WITH THAT, TOO. I AGREE. DEFINITELY. IT'S JOSH CONDUCTOR. JUSTIN WILSON AND BEING OUT LAST YEAR TO ENCOURAGE THE CITY SPONSORSHIP LIKE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO SPONSORED. YEAH. OKAY, VIDEOS. OKAY WE JUST PUSHED IT OUT TO A FEW OF OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS AGAIN JUST LAST WEEK AND THIS WEEK SO BY OUR NEXT TOWNSHIP MEETING, WE HAVE A BETTER SENSE OF WHERE WE ARE. BUT YOU LOVE TO HAVE YOUR SUPPORT AGAIN. PLEASE COME ON THE 16TH. ANY QUESTIONS FOR THE CHEAPER FOR US? GREAT. NO WE APPRECIATE IT. HOPEFULLY MISTER DARK'S KEEP YOU INFORMED OF US WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE CITY? BUT ANYTIME YOU WOULD LIKE FOR US TO RETURN THE FAVOR AND GIVE HER UPDATE ON WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE CITY WOULD BE HAPPY TO ACCOMMODATE THAT. I APPRECIATE YOUR PARTNERSHIP OVER THE YEARS, OF COURSE, CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING REELECTED AND GREAT HIRED CHIEF CONNOR. YOU KNOW, HE'S REALLY BEEN SUPER ENGAGED NOT ONLY WITH COUNCIL BUT WITH THEIR ENTIRE COMMUNITY. UM NO, I DON'T THINK HE'S HE PROBABLY KNOWS MORE PEOPLE IN TOWN THAN I DO. I'M SURE YOU'LL BE HAPPY WHEN THE CONSTRUCTION OF IN FRONT OF THE STATION IS DONE. ALL THE ROADS, YOU KNOW THAT, YOU KNOW. I MEAN, ON THE ROAD. YEAH DO YOU HAVE DEVELOPED THE CONTROL OF THAT INTERSECTION LIGHT? NOW THEY OVERRIDE THE TRAFFIC LIGHT MICROPHONE. BECAUSE WE ARE ALSO STREAMING THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO HEAR YOU FROM TOO FAR AWAY. SORRY TO INTERRUPT. YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER THE LIGHTS. WE HAVE THAT WORKING. IT'S WORKING. WELL, WE DON'T HAVE TO USE IT ALL THE TIME. JUST OCCASIONALLY.

RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC, THE TRAFFIC BACK UP IN FRONT OF THE FIREHOUSE AND BLOCKER EXIT, SO WE PUSH THAT BUTTON AUTOMATICALLY TURNS THE LIGHT GREEN NORTH BONG TRAFFIC CLEARS AND IT'S SEAMLESS. THAT'S GREAT. IT'S VERY GOOD. DO WE HAVE MORE THAN ONE OF THOSE HAND DOWN FOR OTHER LICENSES? YEAH BECAUSE I LIVE ACROSS THE STREET SO I'D LOVE AND REMOTE. GET THAT JUST ANY LIGHT IN TOWN POINT CHEAP WITH RECENT TWO ADDITIONS. HOW MANY WE UP TO NOW? WE HAVE 45.

FULL TIME FIREFIGHTERS. WE HAVE 39 OPERATIONAL. AND SIX ADMINISTRATIVE. AND WE HAVE 15, PART TIME STAFF AND SIX INTERNS WHO ALSO, YOU'LL SEE OUR INTERNS ARE WEARING GRAY SHIRTS THAT LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT, BUT THEY ALL HAVE THEIR TRAINING. BUT THEY'RE LEARNING THE WAY AND AFTER SIX MONTHS WE RE EVALUATE THEM TO GRADUATE THEM TO PART TIME STAFF. GET THEM THROUGH PARAMEDIC SCHOOL, HOPEFULLY RETAIN THEM. WE HAVE HIRED TWO INTERNS FULL TIME LAST YEAR THAT MADE IT THROUGH THE PROCESS. THREE. WE HAVE LIEUTENANT MARK POWELL, WHO IS R. E M S COORDINATOR WHO IS GOING TO BE RETIRING AFTER AN EVENT THAT THE KEY HAD AN UNFORTUNATE EVENT IN A FIRE. HE IS RETIRING HERE THIS YEAR. IN DECEMBER, WE HAVE PROMOTED BRAD ESSEX TO OUR EMS COORDINATOR'S POSITION, SO YOU'LL SEE AN M S COORDINATORS VEHICLE AROUND TOWN, ASSISTING THE EMS PROVIDERS ON THE STREET, KEEPING THEIR CERTIFICATIONS. WHERE THEY NEED TO BE KEEPING OUR FARM PHARMACY DIRECT LICENSE UP TO DATE, A LOT OF THINGS THAT GOES IN WITH THAT, SO THAT'S A POSITION THAT WE HAVE ADDED IN THE LAST YEAR TO HELP PROTECT THIS COMMUNITY COMMUNITY ASKS FOR GM'S EVERY SINGLE DAY AND WE'RE GOING TO PROVIDE THAT BEST WE CAN IT'S YOUR SPACE ADEQUATE.

THERE THAT YOU WE ARE. WE ARE BUSTING AT THE SEAMS RIGHT NOW IN THE BUILDING ITSELF FOR STAFFING SO IN MANY DAYS WILL HAVE BETWEEN NINE AND 12 PEOPLE ON DUTY. THAT'S NOT INCLUDING THE ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF, SO IT IS GETTING TO ISLAMISTS AS WE SPEAK. ALRIGHT. THE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS FROM COUNCIL. AND THEN WE THINK OUR TOWNSHIP FRIENDS FOR JOINING US THIS EVENING.

YOU'RE WATCHING THE WHOLE MEETING OR, YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE OTHER THINGS TO DO WOULD NOT BE IN ANY WAY OFFENDED IF YOU WENT AND ENJOY YOUR EVENING. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR TIME TODAY.

[00:40:06]

BRISTOL PARKWAY AS REQUESTED BY THE CITY OF NEW ALBANY. SURE. IS THAT YOURS? ACTUALLY I'M SORRY.

IT'S MR MAYER'S MY MIND. HAPPY TO TAKE THIS ONE IN AUSTRIA ONCE THERE WAS LIKE, YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING AND THOUGHT? YEAH YEAH. SO THIS IS FOR THE FIRST PHASE OF A NEW 1.2 MILE LONG PUBLIC STREET WITHIN LOOKING COUNTY PORTION OF THE BUSINESS PART SO CURRENTLY HORIZON QUARTERS OVER HERE, IT DEAD ENDS AT A CUL DE SAC. AND SO THIS NEW ROAD WILL CONNECT HORIZON COURT OVER TO HARRISON ROAD AND THEN ULTIMATELY OVER TO CLOVER VALLEY. PHASE ONE IS LOCATED BETWEEN HORIZON COURT AND HARRISON ROAD RIGHT HERE. SO THIS PHASE ONE IS A LITTLE BIT MORE THAN 3000 FT IN LENGTH. IT CONSISTS OF 4.15 ACRES. THERE ARE NO RESERVES OR LOTS BEING CREATED WITH THIS PLATZ IS IT IS SOLELY FOR RIGHT OF WAY AND UTILITY EASEMENTS ONLY, AND SO THIS STREET PROVIDES INCREASED CONNECTIVITY WITHIN THE BUSINESS PART CONSISTENT WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE STRATEGIC PLAN, AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION REVIEWED AND RECOMMENDED APPROVAL LAST MONTH DURING YOUR MEETING. STAFF IS HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS PLAQUE. WHO'S DOING THE ROAD WORK. IS IT HAVE WE SELECTED THE CONTRACTOR TO DO THAT WORK AS OF YET? NO WE HAVEN'T. WE'RE FINISHING UP THE DESIGN RIGHT NOW, AND IT'LL LIKELY THAT BIT SOMETIME EARLY NEXT YEAR. I'M SORRY THAT'S ACTUALLY BEEN TRUST IS CONSTRUCTING THAT. OH FOR THE PHASE TWO PORTION BE ENTRUSTED. CONSTRUCTING THAT? YEAH. AND THE REASON I ASKED FOR AN OBSERVATION, I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRIVE DOWN CLOVER ROAD BETWEEN JUG. AND MINK. THE NEW SECTION RIGHT THERE BY THE BUT THE PET. CHEMICAL CHEMICAL.

THANK YOU. IT SEEMED TO ME THAT THAT ROAD IS AWFULLY UNDULATING MORE THAN THE ROAD SHIP. MHM HAD LITTLE CONCERNS ABOUT WHO'S DOING THAT WORK AND WHO'S APPROVING THE WORK BECAUSE IT SEEMED A LITTLE UNEVEN TO ME. BUT THAT SURFACE COULD BE SMOOTHER AS YOU WALK. THAT'S JUST MY OBSERVATION ON FOR TO SHARE THAT HERE AT HOPEFUL THAT WE CAN BE A LITTLE MORE MAYBE IT'S WITH THEM. DID YOU WRITE DRIVING LAST? IT WAS IT WAS STRIPES. SO IT'S PROBABLY ABOUT A WEEK AGO. IT'S BEEN STRIPED, OKAY? JUST MY OBSERVATION. SO AND I'VE HAD COMPLAINTS. FROM RESIDENTS ABOUT ROAD SURFACES AFTER THEY'VE BEEN COMPLETED THAT THEY FEEL LIKE THEY'RE TOO ANGEL LADY, AND MAYBE THAT'S BEEN A LITTLE TOO CRITICAL. BUT JUST AN OBSERVATION I HAD FROM MY OWN. TRIP DOWN THAT ROAD. THANK YOU. OTHER QUESTIONS REGARDING THE ORDINANCE MORE GO AHEAD AND SET THAT FOR A SECOND READING AT OUR MEETING IN NOVEMBER, 21ST ORDINANCE 0104 2023 IN ORDER TO APPROVE FACE TO FINAL PLAN AND ACCEPT WRITER BOY DEDICATION FOR BRISCOE PARKWAY AS REQUESTED BY THE CITY NORTHERN YES. SO THIS IS A SAME ROADWAY. SO THIS IS FOR THE SECOND PHASE THAT RUNS BETWEEN HARRISON ROAD AND CLOVER VALLEY ROAD SPACE TO FOR BRISCOE PARKWAY. SO THIS PHASE, UM, IS ALSO JUST A LITTLE OVER 3000 FT IN LENGTH AND CONSISTS OF 4.25 ACRES. JUST LIKE THE FIRST PHASE. THERE'S NO RESERVES BEING CLATTERED OR LOTS CREATED. THIS IS SOLELY FOR RIGHT OF WAY. DEDICATION AND UTILITY. THESE MEN'S ONLY JUST LIKE THE FIRST PHASE. IT ALSO INCREASES CONNECTIVITY WITHIN THE BUSINESS PARK. UM THEY'RE BY MEETING THE STREET PLANS, GOALS AND STANDARDS AND ALSO IT'S A LITTLE HARD TO SEE HERE, BUT IT RUNS ALONG MY FAVORITE CREEK AND CONSERVATION AREA TO THE NORTH SIDE HERE. AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION REVIEWED AND RECOMMENDED APPROVAL LAST MONTH AT THEIR MEETING. RIGHT ARE WE GOING TO RENAME THAT STEVENS CREEK OR ARE YOU LIKE WE WERE IN THE SURPRISE PUTTING INTO SHAMELESS PLUG HERE? ALRIGHT I'LL JOKE INSIDE ANY QUESTIONS ON THE ORDINANCE. NO GO AHEAD AND SET THAT FOR A SECOND READING AND PUBLIC HEARING THEIR MEETING ON NOVEMBER 21ST.

ORDINANCE 0105 2023 IN ORDER TO APPROVE THE FINAL PLAN FOR THE RE SUBDIVISION OF LOTS, 45 AND SIX A WITHIN THE HAWKS MORE SUBDIVISION AND 2.456 PLUS OR MINUS ACRES, GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF PROXIMAL DRIVE. AS REQUESTED BY ANDREW AND LISA MONKEY. SO SINCE THE PUBLISHING THE AGENDA AND THE ISSUING OF THE COUNCIL PACKETS CITY STAFF HAS RECEIVED A

[00:45:02]

REQUEST FROM THE PROPERTY OR APPLICANTS REQUESTING THAT THIS ITEM BE TABLED INDEFINITELY.

THEY CITED THAT THEY ARE PURSUING THE POSSIBILITY OF SELLING A PORTION OF THE PROPERTY OF THIS TO BE PLANTED. SO IF IT'S SOLD, THEY'RE THEREFORE THE PROPERTY WOULD NO LONGER NEED TO BE PLANTED SINCE IT'S JUST COMBINING LOTS SO AT THE REQUEST OF THE PROPERTY OWNER STAFF RECOMMENDS THAT THIS PIECE OF LEGISLATION BEING TABLED INDEFINITELY. ALRIGHT ANY QUESTIONS ON THE ORDINANCE OF THE REQUEST TO BE TABLED? RIGHT AND I WOULD MOVE THAT WE TABLE ORDINANCE 0105 2023 INDEFINITELY. SECONDLY, SPALDING MEMBER COUNCIL MEMBER BRIS YES.

COUNCIL MEMBER FELLERS? YES YES. COUNCIL MEMBER SHELLED. YES YES. VOTES TO TABLE ORDINANCE 0105

THAT TAKES US TO STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS WHEN ANYONE CARE TO MAKE A STANDING COMMITTEE REPORT. REPORTS OF REPRESENTATIVES JOHNNY AT THE DEMOCRACY MEETING

[13. REPORTS OF REPRESENTATIVES]

PERVS YES, HAD A MEETING LAST NIGHT. THEY PRESENTED THE SCHEMATIC DESIGNS FOR THEIR NEW BUILDING OUT THERE, AS WELL AS A TIMELINE AND A TWO D AND THREE D PRESENTATION, WHICH IS ACTUALLY PRETTY COOL. UM RIGHT NOW, IF EVERYTHING PROCEEDS AS PLANNED, IT LOOKS LIKE THEY'LL BE WRAPPING UP PERMITTING. THEY'RE BEING VERY GENEROUS ON THIS TIME, SO IT MIGHT GET DONE SOONER, BUT YOU'RE SAYING PERMITTING ANYWHERE FROM MAY 20TH TO JULY 19TH. THEN THEY'LL BE ABLE TO PROCEED WITH CONSTRUCTION 19 MONTHS TO FINISH . SO YOU'RE TALKING, PROBABLY FIRST QUARTER ISSUE OF 2026 1 OF THE COMMENTS THAT THEY HAD IS, YOU KNOW, RESIDENTS PASSED THIS AT THE LAST ELECTION, AND IT SEEMS LIKE IT'S A LITTLE BIT SLOW. BUT YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER.

THIS IS A 200,000 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING ON 38 ACRES, SO IT'S GOING TO TAKE SOME TIME TO GET IT GOING, BUT EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE PROCEEDING. WELL THEN I BROUGHT THE PLANS OF PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED TO TAKE A LOOK ABSOLUTELY 26. PROBABLY 2026 CURIOUS. THEY ALREADY HAVE CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATES INVENTS. HAVE THEY GONE TO THAT PROCESS? EVERYTHING THAT THEY SAID SO FAR IS WITHIN BUTTON. OKAY UM, OBVIOUSLY, WE'VE GOT A LOT OF QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ABOUT SOME FURTHER INFORMATION. DO YOU KNOW IF THE JOINT PARKS ARE PLANNING TO UPDATE THEIR WEBSITE TO PROVIDE UP TO GREEN THREE D VIEW OR YEAH, THAT WAS A GOOD QUESTION. I THINK THEY WANT TO GET THEY WANTED TO GET THROUGH THIS PRESENTATION FIRST, AND I THINK THAT WILL BE UPCOMING ON THEIR WEBSITE LOOKS GREAT FOR YOU GUYS. IT'S REALLY LOOKS NICE . MHM THAT'S GONNA BE A NICE FACILITY. IT DOES APPEAR NICE HERE. I'LL SHARE IT. THANKS I'LL PASS IT DOWN. TAKE A LOOK FIRST.

[00:50:06]

ALRIGHT ANY UPDATE FROM THE ALBANY PLAN? LOCAL SCHOOLS, UM, NO MEETING, BUT FALSE SPORTS HAVE COME TO A CLOSE, SO I FIGURED I'D PROVIDE AN UPDATE WE HAVEN'T TALKED ABOUT IT WAS REALLY SUCCESSFUL FALL SEASON FOR THE EAGLES. UM THERE ARE SEVERAL STATE RUNNER UPS GIRLS TENNIS DOUBLES TEAM OF PAGE CORNELIUS AND RICHARD FRANCOIS. FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW.

THEY WERE STATE RUNNERS UP IN DOUBLES IN TENNIS, TENNIS AND FIELD HOCKEY. I MEAN, I'M GETTING THERE. OH MY GOSH! ALRIGHT SO, UH, SLOAN MENTIONED GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY PLAYED THIS WEEKEND. AH THEY FINISHED STATE RUNNER UP. THEY LET IT GO IN WITH TWO MINUTES LEFT IN REGULATION AND THEN LOST IN OVERTIME TO THOMAS WORTHINGTON, WHO IT WAS THE DEFENDING STATE CHAMPION. SO PAIGE CORNELIUS, WHO WAS STATE RUNNER UP IN TENANTS, WAS ALSO STATE RUNNER UP IN FIELD HOCKEY AS WELL. SO SHE HAD A PRETTY PHENOMENAL HARVARD TO. IT'S NOT GOING TO HARDER, SO SHE'S KIND OF SMART. UNBELIEVABLE TALENT THERE. UM I THINK THE DISPATCH DID AN ARTICLE ON AND SAID SHE'S A GENERATIONAL TALENT AND I COMPLETELY AGREE. IF YOU SEE HER PLAY FEEL LIKE SHE DOES THINGS, BUT OKAY. NOBODY ELSE DOES OUT THERE. SO, UM, VERY COOL. UM GIRLS GOLF. THEY'VE BEEN IN HERE QUITE A FEW TIMES. THEY ACTUALLY FINISHED TEAM STATE RUNNER UP, UM, HAD A LITTLE BIT OF LETDOWN AND STATE MEET. UM BUT ME AND HAMMOND, A SOPHOMORE, WAS INDIVIDUAL MEDALIST FOR THE EAGLES. SHE'S ONLY A SOPHOMORE. SHE SHOT FOUR UNDER OVER 36 HOLES, WHICH SET THE STATE RECORD. UM SHE'S THE ONE WHO'S ACTUALLY COMPETED IN LPGA EVENTS THIS YEAR, SO SHE'S A GREAT TALENT AS WELL. SHE'LL BE AROUND FOR A FEW MORE YEARS.

INTERESTING HOW WE SEE THAT'S A LETDOWN. YEAH YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS. YEAH SO TWIN BROTHERS ARE PRETTY TOUGH. YES TRIPLETS, TRIPLETS RIVER, THE RIVER BOYS, SO I THINK WE'RE GOING TO HEAR FROM THE BOYS GOLF TEAM HERE. THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS. UH AND THEN ON SATURDAY, THE BOYS SOCCER TEAM FINISHED REGIONAL RUNNER UP. UM SO IT WAS A GOOD, UH, GOOD FALL SEASON FOR MANY SPORTS. I THINK ONE OF THE KISS BOYS WAS RECOGNIZED VERY OKAY. YEAR YEAH. DAD'S TOUGH ON HIM. YEAH. ALL RIGHT. WELL, THANK YOU FOR THAT UPDATE. OBVIOUSLY, WE HAD A PRETTY COMPREHENSIVE ABOUT THE FROM THE TOWNSHIP. BUT MIKE, ANYTHING ELSE, DAD? JUST ONE THING FROM THE MEETING THAT THEY HAD AND ALL, UH, DEFER TO OUR DISTINGUISHED REPRESENTATIVES.

IF I IF I MISREPRESENTED ANYTHING, BUT SEVERAL RESIDENTS, TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS CAME TO THEM.

AND EXPRESSED CONCERN ABOUT THE COURTYARDS AT HAINES CREEK. AND THEIR CONCERN IS ABOUT RECENT CHANGES IN THE IN THAT DEVELOPMENT WILL BE BUILT ON PHIL, POTENTIALLY CREATING A CHANGE IN ELEVATION OF 8 FT. NEXT DOOR TO THEIR PROPERTY. UH AND THAT WOULD INCLUDE A 6 FT HIGH RETAINING WALL. THE PRESIDENT'S FEEL. IT'S A MAJOR CHANGE NOT PRESENTED TO THE ROCKY FORK ACCORD. I FORWARDED THE CONCERNS TO JENNIFER AND GOT BACK TO ME. SHE CAN ALSO CORRECT YES, I GO THROUGH THIS, BUT, UM, THE PLATT SAID TO ROCKY CORK IS A ZONING APPLICATION AND NOT A FINAL PLOT PLAN FOR CONSTRUCTION , SO THEY'RE ONLY APPROVING THE ZONING ASPECTS OF IT. GRADING IS A FINAL SITE PLAN DETAIL THAT THE DEVELOPER WILL WORK ON THE APPLICANTS CURRENTLY ON A PAUSES. THEY WORK THROUGH THEIR FINAL DEVELOPMENT. PLAN SO WE'LL HAVE TO SEE WHAT COMES FORWARD FROM THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AND THAT WOULD GO TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND GET REVIEWED AT THAT TIME. AND I'M SORRY, MIKE. JUST HOW MANY FEET ELEVATION TRAINING FOOT ELEVATION CHANGES WHAT THE RESIDENTS WERE, UH CITING IN THAT INCLUDED IN THAT WOULD BE A 6 FT HIGH WALL AND PROBABLY 2 FT. MORE IN TERMS OF ELEVATED FOOT ELEVATION CHANGE FROM THE DEVELOPMENT TO THEIR PROPERTY. SET. CORRECT ANYTHING ELSE THERE. YEAH I MEAN, I THINK WE, UM, STEVE CORRECT NEWMAN.

WE'RE STILL WAITING FOR FINAL APPLICATION MATERIALS FROM THE APPLICANT IN ORDER TO MOVE FORWARD. BUT THESE ARE ALL THINGS THAT ONCE YOU GO FROM THE ZONING PROCESS TO THE FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN PROCESS, YOU START TO REALLY DIG DOWN DEEPER INTO YOUR, YOU KNOW, JUST ENGINEERING, SO IT'S NOT PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING ANYMORE, BUT REALLY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW THE DRAINAGE IS GOING TO WORK AND HOW THE DIFFERENT DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS THAT ARE REQUIRED WITHIN THE CODE IS GOING TO BE MET. SO THE PLANNING COMMISSION I THINK HAS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE. UM DEALING WITH THE SPINAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS AND THE DETAILS IN THEM, AND SO WE'LL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT APPLICATION GOING TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION, AND THEN THEY'RE THEY'RE OVERVIEW. I THINK THE QUESTIONS. THAT TAKES US TO REPORT OF CITY OFFICIALS.

[14. REPORTS OF CITY OFFICIALS]

[00:55:13]

APOLOGIZE TO POPES THAT HAD MADE PLANS TO ATTEND. UM. I MEAN, PERSONALLY, IT'S A IT'S A IT'S A DISAPPOINTMENT FOR ME. THEY WERE UNABLE TO PROCEED ON THAT.
